WELCOME

I'm Arkturus, a solo artist from Manchester in the UK. I'm a cross-genre artist with a sound that reflects my fascination with the melancholy of the world. My sound is large, it's ambient and it's dense. I combine elements from electronica, neo-classical and shoegaze into my work in an effort to extract and communicate what it means to be me.

I've taken influence from a wide range of sources, most prominantly Parannoul, Kiasmos, M83, Nrthrn and Slowdive.

In this age of increasing disconnection, I believe music can be a bridge. Through my songs, I hope to offer a shared experience, a mutual understanding.
